Other Bodies of Executive Power Article 113
• The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is the highest body in the
system of bodies of executive power.
• The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is responsible to the President
of Ukraine and is under the control of and accountable to the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine within the limits envisaged in Articles 85 and 87 of the
Constitution of Ukraine.
• The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is guided in its activity
by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine and by the acts of the President
of Ukraine.
Article 114
• The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is composed of the Prime Minister
of Ukraine, the First Vice Prime Minister, three Vice Prime Ministers
and the Ministers.
• The Prime Minister of Ukraine is appointed by the President of
Ukraine with the consent of more than one-half of the constitutional composition
of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
• The personal composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
is appointed by the President of Ukraine on the submission of the Prime
Minister of Ukraine.
• The Prime Minister of Ukraine manages the work of the Cabinet
of Ministers of Ukraine and directs it for the implementation of the Programme
of Activity of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted by the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine.
• The Prime Minister of Ukraine forwards a submission to the President
of Ukraine on the establishment, reorganisation and liquidation of ministries
and other central bodies of executive power, within the funds envisaged
by the State Budget of Ukraine f or the maintenance of these bodies. |
