The exhibition business in Ukraine has been going now through a regular stage of its development. Many companies have quit the market, and those who have stayed turned into professionals. Trade exhibitions on computer, construction and some other subjects felt tight with the possibilities available in Ukraine. So the necessity of new exhibition centers was obvious. Supported by Kiev City State Administration, the International Exhibition Center was incorporated in 1998 in order to carry out the construction of new exhibition ground on the Dnepr River's left side. The International Exhibition Center provides various services including: renting the IEC areas to organize fairs, shows, conferences, presentations and so on; renting offices; renting storage facilities; renting areas to locate restaurants, coffee shops, bars, arcades; organization of international exhibitions, congresses, symposia, conferences, presentations; advertising services.

The IEC is an exhibition complex with a total area of 25,617 square meters and total exhibition area of 10,500 square meters. The pavilions are equipped with voltage supply of 220 V and 380 V, up-to-date ventilation and air conditioning system, vast storage facilities, elevators and motor freight transport access

capability, post, telephone, Internet, service center, conference rooms, press center. Also there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, snack bars, shops, offices, cloakrooms and lavatories located on the territory of the International Expo Center. The Expo Center provides its visitors with parking places and is located in the immediate proximity to the hotels Tourist, Adria, Bratislava and Slavutitch.

The center holds a number of the most important exhibitions in Ukraine, trade fairs and industrial forums, including International Water Forum AQUA Ukraine, International AGROFORUM, International Protection Technologies Exhibition Forum, International Industrial Forum "Production and Safety" and International specialized exhibition called "CommunTech"

The Acco International is one of the leading exhibition companies in Ukraine and also a modern exhibition center, located in the center of the Ukrainian capital. The company has been working in the sphere of exhibition business since 1992. And about 200 exhibition events were held during this time. The Acco International Exhibition Center is situated in the central park zone of Kiev, which boasts a suitable traffic junction.

The center is outfitted with the most up-to-date equipment and can hold any type of events, including congresses, conferences and symposiums; festivals, competitions, fashion shows, corporative actions and presentations, concerts. The Acco occupies 2,800 square meters of covered exposition area and 1,800 square meters of open areas. There are also two well-equipped conference-halls with ventilation systems and air heating, each capable for 100 persons. An exposition mounting is carried out with special exhibition equipment, provided by Octanorm company system. On the second floor there is a bar and a restaurant that is perfectly suited for organizing various meetings and banquets.
The main activity of the Acco International is organization and conducting of various international specialized exhibitions. The Acco has also run national exhibitions of Hungary, Israel, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Slovakia, France, Czech Republic and other countries.
In 2002 International Trade Leader's Club awarded the company Acco International with a special prize "For Commercial Prestige".

In 2003 in the Acco International 32 exhibition and presentation events were held: exhibitions, forums, presentations, contests and corporative meetings. Eight hundred and eleven enterprises took part in these events.

The ExpoPlaza Exhibition Center was designed and built specially for conducting international trade shows, exhibitions, fairs, presentations, and other events. For this moment it is the largest and most modern trade show venue in Ukraine. It embodies all the latest achievements in international construction and engineering technologies and ten years of experience in the Ukrainian exhibition business.
The ExpoPlaza Center was opened in February, 2003. During the spring of 2003, it hosted 14 national and international exhibitions and became Ukraine's number one trade show venue.

The new exhibition center has laid down a strong foundation for the further development of the exhibition business in this country. The Kiev ExpoPlaza features three exhibition halls. Each hall has four separate entrances allowing up to 4 exhibitions to be carried out in one time or for a large exhibition to be split into specialized expositions, each with its own entrance. The exhibitions halls are equipped with a branched supply network for electricity, water, sewage, phone communications, and Internet. Unique temperature-control technology integrates heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The halls are designed for minimal sound reverberation. They are also outfitted with fire protection and alarm systems.

The ExpoPlaza features three conference rooms, all of which are equipped with high-quality audio and video equipment, allowing up to 5 different events to take place at the same time. One of the distinguishing features of the hall is that large congresses can be carried out here. Larger receptions can seat up to 1,000 persons.

The Plaza Restaurant is located in the mezzanine of the Hall 1 and provides guests with daily lunch buffets. Evening banquets are organized for up to 200 persons and buffet receptions for up to 300 persons.
