The Chapel of Boims - Renaiscence-building
monument, built in XVII century.
It was built to order of Lviv' merchant George Boim in 1609-1615.
The builder of Chapel is unknown. Possible Wrotzlaw' architect and sculptor
Andri Bemer.Basic part of the Chapel was built in 1609-1611. Later - in
1609-1611, western facade and interior was decorated with a carving The
athors are Phister, Hanush Sholtz and possible Andri Bemer.
Plan-space composition of the Chapel is a cube finished with the Renaiscence
cupola. Main facade of the Chapel over-saturated with a white-stone fretwork.
It fills all area of the wall like iconostasises of the Ukrainian churches.A
valuable art monuments are fresco portraites of George Boim and his wife
Yadviha - Eastern facade from Halyts'ka Street.
